Thomas (Jock) Noble was born in Edinburgh in 1924. At the ripe old age of 16 he joined the Black Watch regiment in World War 2. At 18 he met our mother in Perth, Scotland. When mam returned to Jarrow, Jock returned and they married. They were the parents of 6 children. As everyone knows Jock liked a tipple or 2 in the Ben Lomond or Prince of Wales. He died at a home for war veterans whilst on holiday at Ayr in his beloved Scotland. He now lies in Jarrow cemetary.
